Fun In Vegas

Our wonderful friends Paul & Courtney Belcher (Mountain Crane, UT) were so generous to have us accompany them for the 2008 Crane Show in Las Vegas!  Although there was a lot of work to be done, people to meet, deals to be delt, Brian and I had a fabulous time!  We started our trip by flying in to Salt Lake City, UT where we met up with Paul and Courtney.  Their home is absolutely beautiful, the view of the mountains spectacular.  Brain has a crane out there he wanted to check up on so Paul, Brian & I hopped in the truck, stopped and checked out the crane, and from there we headed out for the 6 hour drive to Vegas!  I was battling the flu and missing the kids but I couldn't of had better company to cheer me up.  Brian and Paul were a riot!  We checked in to the Hilton were we stayed the next 4 days.  The crane show was unbelievable, even for me.  I could not believe the size of those machines.  We also were able to play a little, Brian and I took a ride on the "Paris Eiffel Tower", enjoyed a Gondola Ride, visited many of the beautiful hotels, @ ate out-of-this-world- meals.  Courtney showed me what a real "Day at the Spa" is all about, 4 hours of jacuzzi, steam rooms, saunas, followed by a seaweed wrap and Swedish massage.  I was in heaven!  To end our trip, Paul & Courtney were so sweet to invite us to join them and another great couple to see Beatles Love by Cirque Du Soleil.  Boy was that a show to see.  Mind blowing!  And I forgot to mention, we took a Hot Pink Stretch Hummer to the Mirage thanks to Brian! Courtney & Paul, we can't thank you enough for a trip that we will never forget!

Logan Brings Home A 1st!

Our little man did it.  It was the final race of the season, at Treetops in Gaylord, MI.  Day one, Logan gets 1st in heat one, 3rd in heat 2, and 1st in heat 3.  Final race, Lo gets the hole shot and races his butt off  all the way to the finish line shutting out his 2 biggest rivals of the year!  Great job Logan, you deserve it.  Grandpa our mechanic deserves it to.  ENDLESS work on that machine day in and day out really paid off.  Also great job to us cheerleaders, Mom, Grandma, Ella, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins for all their support.  And Daddy too, for helping out on the track all season and playing mechanic when Grandpa could not be there.  What a great season!  Logan did receive a private invitation to the Nationals in Lake Geneva, WI (for being a top point's leader) but unfortunately Brian and I were in Vegas due to work so we could not attend this year.  If Logan receives the invite again next year, we will not miss it!
